This Sunday at Westercon in Tempe, AZ, I will have the pleasure of co-anchoring a panel with Dr. Stanley Schmidt of Analog Magazine and Sheila Finch, author of The Guild of Xenolinguists. The topic will be designing alien languages, and both of these folks are absolute experts. The panel will be from 10-11:30, and thereafter at 2pm I will be reading my Analog short story, "Let the Word Take Me," which also deals with linguistics.
