Anti-aliasing problems
Don’t know if this is right place for my post… but anyway:
I have a problem – anti-aliasing don’t work in most 3d programms and games. This problem appeared exactly after I changed my monitor from 19” CRT (1600×1200; VGA – VGA-to-DVI) to 24” LCD (1920×1200; DVI). I understand, that monitor itself has on affect on 3d-rendering, but I haven’t changed any driver or in-game settings after this replacement (except resolution, of course).
Some people say that problem is in the lack of GPU memory due to a higher resolution – but switching back to lower one (up to 1024×768) doesn’t change a thing. Other advice to sit back, relax and wait for new drivers\games… but, you know, a complicated 3D picture on 24-inch display looks really unpleasant without AA
I know that driver settings regarding AA for my favorite games are correct because they do worked before. I tried using utilities like nHancer and reinstalling drivers, but with no result.
Any advices?
