Really having a hard time (even ExpertsExchange can’t help!)

Hello there everyone, and thanks for reading.

Instead of writing up everything, I’ll just copy past from ExpertsExchange, save some time.

Hi there,

I’ve recently brought a flash-template and I’m looking for a way in which my images that are in the XML files can link to certain pages via a ’systemOrder’ script.

With text, the follow code works just fine;

05. CONTACT

And here is the code for my image;

However, no matter what I do or whatever I replace ‘#’ with, it just wont link right.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

I’ve modified it slightly and have 3 things I need help with, this question is the first of three (as its most important).

Well, I’m not sure quite what you mean by that.

Its just a website root directory. And I’m working in Flash and notepad only.

Demo : www.davidmaymedia.com/dummy – Under the About tab, you will notice a ‘recent work’ menu. I want the images on there to go to specific pages (like the 01.home, 02.about 03.reel 04.services 05.contact) do.

I’ve been able to discover that the following code will send it to the privacy page, but can’t for the life of me figure out how to make it go to systemOrder="6";

But anyway, I want my _pic1.png to go to systemOrder="6" (like the menu text does).

http://davidmaymedia.com/dummy/tfile_main.xml << Is the full XML

You can see both relevant bits of the script in the top section. (around line 15 for the menu text with link information – and around line 23 for the images).

I’m trying to give you as much info as possible.
