Last week, I blogged about the new Video theme by Quommunication, and today I can announce a very similar new theme by Jason Schuller over at WPElements.com (Jason has done quite a few video themes already). So just based on the above evidence, it seems that the next fad in WordPress themes, will most definitely be focused on video as the main selling point of the themes. So is video just a passing fad, or will the niche triumph (again)?

Fact is, that I’ve been toying with the idea of doing a video theme as well and I even posted some concepts on this blog a while back (along with the other Vibrant themes series). But you might ask why I haven’t finished the development on the theme after already finishing the mockups… Well, two reasons…

• I’d like to see where video themes go first; and
• I don’t really know whether the niche for video-only themes is big enough (I think - for example -that the market for CMS-type themes are much, much bigger).

But that’s only my opinion… I’d really love to know what you guys and girls think… Would you buy a video-only theme? Or do you want a general theme with great video capabilities!? Let me know…
