What started out as a bit of a rant against the premium WordPress themes model, has morphed into becoming a light-hearted prediction of where WordPress themes will go in the coming months…
Ian (author of ThemeShaper) also contacted me to comment on this matter, but because I felt that his initial post (here) on the matter was overly subjective, I declined commenting. But after spending 10-odd minutes in reading the full post, I’m pleasantly surprised by the more objective nature of the opinions and predictions - even though, I had not come across some of the individuals that were asked to comment.
It’s a mammoth post and there’s lots of information and opinions - but it’s a good read nonetheless. Do I agree with the predictions in general? I don’t know… Some are on target in my opinion and others are way of the mark… Decide for yourself!
