It’s actually very sad for me to say that Small Potato a.k.a WPdesigner has placed his blog up for sale, at first i thought this was an early April’s Fool joke but he quickly pointed out that this wasn’t the case, in a nutshell he is selling because he plans to travel around the world for the rest of this year.

Excerpt from his sale post:

If you’ve been reading this blog and my personal blog, you know the first and main reason is I’ll be traveling abroad for the rest of this year. Initially, I was hoping I could juggle traveling, maintaining this blog, and continue creating WordPress themes, but that’s more than likely not the case. Because of that, I’d rather hand Wpdesigner.com to a solid team of developers with enough man hours and better management skills to do this site justice.

He will not be selling the site to simply anyone who makes a bid, instead he assures his readers that any potential buyer must have a working knowledge of WordPress and if possible a team of dedicated WordPress developers to continue to spur on the growth of the site.

The site’s B.I.N (Buy It Now) price is set at $65,000 and the current highest bid is $15,000.

I have always been a fan and before i started developing my own themes i was using his themes for my projects, he is really a good designer and i iwsh him well and hopefully he get’s a win-win situation of of this deal.
